What's the average air cleaner change?
What is compression now?
And riding in a dirty city like LA is even more impressive!

Average oil change is 8k
Air cleaner is a Bmc so I wash , oil and reuse just about every oil change.
Compression is @ 170 across the board.

The need for 3000 mile or sooner oil changes went away a few years ago it's over kill. Unless your maybe putting 500 passes at the track on the bike in those 3000 miles. but for street riding a good oil will go longer.

Wow..thats alot of seat time! Not too long ago you had 50K. How many valve adjusts?

my rule was always 5k miles without track time or 3k with track time. OR every 50 passes which was generally 2-3 trips to the track. I ran rotella synthetic and napa filters. Stock air filter and no filter at the track.

I've always wondered how much a high performance engine's hp degrades with mileage. It'd be interesting to go have it dynoed and see what she's putting to the ground after 100K.

I checked them at pretty much every interval. Only had to adjust a few 2 times.

I can tell you the seat of the pants dyno says she's spot on lol!
I plan on doing a dyno run @ 100k . It'll be interesting to see where she's at now. I haven't been on the strip in a while too . It would be nice to compare time slips from a few years ago.

You'd probably get more by sending it to the crusher for scrap aluminum than what they'd offer you.

Ya but it would be fun to take it to one and ask about tradeing then seeing there faces when you say it has 100,000 miles on it.
