Damn, that says something about these bikes... Please let us know what it does when it hits 100K.... If it flips you can ride it for another 5K & trade it in with low miles ;-)

Very Impressive,
Next week I will turn my 121K VFR over to a parts guy who offered me 1300 dollars for it. I was hoping to get it back on the road but for the amount of money it would cost to do that it's just too rich for my blood. Here are some of the hi-lights that happened after it hit 100K
1 The wiring harness on the VFR there are 2 and both went. Seems over time wires get brittle or do a little too much rubbing on something that they fail.
2. Front Bearings might not be a bad Idea to order another set to have at the ready, in the case of the Honda it's not a in stock item.
3. Switches Actually these went a little before 100K but they still were an replaced item.
4. Speed sensor just started reading 20 miles per hour while I was riding on the highway, this was a cheap fix i took one of my ear plugs and placed it in the hex head cover and bingo everything worked fine again.
5. just start looking out for oil leaks around the head, the gaskets are getting close to the end of their life.
Hopefully you will not have a spark plug blow out a cylinder and you will get miles well beyond 121K and live happy ever after.
