Heating Up
Riders,
I have installed a second fan on my 2011 and i have water wetter mix in with my anti-freeze. it still seems to get hot when not hauling ass. i mean just below the high temp bar. once i get in the wind around 65-85mph it goes back to one above half after a while. My ? is, is that the nature of the beast or what? my second fan is always on til i turn it off, but i cant tell the diff.
Mods: flies out, pcv-with auto tune, bmc filter, muzzy full pipe system/wrapped from header to cannister. dyno ride@185hp. H.I.D lights, hyperlink damper. second fan on toggle. 6" in the rear. lowered. -1front, +2rear. thats about it.. thanks for any input

My 07 usually stays just above the half way mark unless I get caught in traffic. I've got Engine Ice in it. It will get way up though in afternoon traffic. It's never puked though.

Try dropping on a zx10 fender, it dropped the temp 1-2 bars, usually runs in the middle & only comes up 1 bar at standstill. I'm running regular coolant & no 2nd fan. I live in heat.
