And now some good news for a change ..
Brock slugger ZX14R with 161 pound Terron Babbage as the jocky goes stupid fast !! Stock wheel base with Brocks bolt ons parts .. Brock added an air shifter and a 39 tooth rear spocket to calm down the wheelys so Terron could get the throttle locked in first gear ...Look at the DA 3000+ feet !! This bike is going 8.70s in good air stock wheel base , you can bet on that ..

That is awesome! Jeremy is pretty convinced that his will go high 60's with one less tooth, and some tuning and tweaking.

Those are great news. And I am glad the picture include the pocket weather tracker because I don't think many people realize the importance of engine tuning and altitude and air density of a racing track.

That's crazy for 3000'. Think what it would run in the left lane at Atco in February.

Man guys, I never have questioned anything that Brock has put out, but being @ Lucas Oil Raceway this past weekend and watching these guys run...something strange was happening....I have a friend that competes in NHDRO and his bike put down a solid 278hp on a DynoJet250i just last week. He was trapping around low 160's.
Brock's bike was trapping mid-140's and then all of a sudden gained 15 mph in the hot and sticky heat. That's one helluva a tuning adjustment.

What do you think the wieght difference was between the two bikes and riders?

Mine traps 162.60 in the heat , why would not brocks zx14r not go 160 ? When i go to the track my first few passes are not the fastest ones , why would their bike and rider be any different .

With 129mph in 1/8 I can believe a tuned 1441 could do 30mph on the back half with a lite weight rider.
@145mph in the 1/4?, that leads me to think his 1/8 would have been about 117mph.
I would think something was wrong with the bike or rider if a tuned 1441 only went 117mph.
A stock wheelbase(08) zx10 goes faster than 117mph in the 1/8.
Then again, I may be wrong, you were there not me.

MPH was pretty low all overall on Saturday.
Smokin: Indy is a very well maintained track (probably the best), but quite honestly is a slow track. I never run as good @ Indy as I do @ Muncie, which is about an hour north and at lower altitude.
I guess slugger is just killin it!
