Bike is popping a lil on upshifts??
My bike is starting to pop and gargle a lil more and more. Not that bad or anything but it is happening a lil bit more lately. Downshifting i heard of but not upshifting. I'm assuming it is running a lil rich??? Is it from removing the flies?? Doesn't really bother me or anything and i'm sure its not killing my bike, but i'm just wondering why.Like i said if i run thru the gears the minute i shift up and start with giving it gas again it pops and gargles thru the pipe. Brocks ct single,pc5 street map, flies removed. Just wondering no biggie.

you need to use 87 octane shell..that would clear the problem...

popping is pop...
basically, it pops when mixture is lean. (like it is when turning off throttle)

plugs will tell you whats up. Also spray some water (squirt bottle) around TB base to see if they are sealed up good. intake leaks are a good way to get lean after playing with TBs
