FREE!!! Guhl ECU Flash Tune

Don Guhl is putting a lot of R&D into this project for our bikes, with plans for a single tuning unit where we can flash tune our own bikes before the end of the year, but he needs someone in the Pa. area who owns a bone stock flies in 2012 ZX14-R that can leave a bike with him for Dyno research for 2 weeks. This will get things really moving. The owner will get a free ECU flash tune. PM me if anyone is interested.

I have no idea why your pm didn't come, but I'm glad to hear you contacted him. This is a huge step for the ZX community. Don will provide you with all the details. His reflash is normal 375. I believe & besides that, the biggest benefit will be getting a live dyno tune. Wish could've done this, but I started modding from day 1 & I live too far north "Michigan"

Just re-installed the revised flashed ECM yesterday with fuel map, KTRC stays off & the flies safety feature is diabled. This is all new in addition to all the other restrictions that have been disabled in the original flash release. Bike runs totally different . No more add ons ie PC,ect. I'll just be glad when we can tune through a handheld like "Diablo Tune" so I can stop shipping my ECU back & forth, everytime there's a revision of the tune.

First post says "flash tune our own bikes before the end of the year."

Seems like an ETERNITY, doesn't it???

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

It's so hot here now I can wait, I'm not motivated much to go to the track in this heat.

Can we read into what Don is up to is that we might be able to leave flies in, have the bike act as it had no flies, yet get max power as Brock noted? Not asking for much...right?

This is correct & part of the revised flash tune.

This is great stuff. Don has been excellent to work with, and we've had great results with his first revision of the reflash.
