New ZX14R Owner

I started a thread a couple days ago "I am considering buying a ZX14R. A few questions" and received a lot of encouraging comments. I really appreciate your help. Well, I went to the dealership today to check it out in person. They had a green, blue and black one on the floor. All three are beautiful, but the black one did it for me. Wow, what a beautiful bike. The fit and finish is second to none. A lot of my concerns were answered when I sat on the bike. Like you guys said, "it is very comfortable". The triangle (wrist, hip and foot position) appears to be in the optimal position. Obviously, I did not get to ride it, but the triangle appears to be much better than my busa.

I got the ultimate salesman, the owner, and he could not have been more helpful and great to work with. I think he gave me a fair price of $13,600 OTD. So, I bought it and will pick it up Thursday or Friday. I can't wait!!! Thanks again for all your help. I look forward sharing information and shooting the bull with you guys.

LOL. I think you are right. Thanks for your comments in my other thread. Having owned a busa, it was nice to hear your opinion regarding the comfort of the zx14R verses a busa. You have owned 3 gen II busas, wow!!!

Congrats on the new bike... Having the right sales person sure can make all the difference, and when it comes to hobby items like a ZX14R, it makes the purchase all the better. Enjoy
