Jeremy Teasley on the 14R at MiRock
Teasley sold his personal bike, an 09 Busa and bought the new 14R Special Edition and had it out at MIR this last weekend.
He had a First Gen Street Meg on it, removed the flies, Brock's Clutch Mod w/ three heavy springs, lowered and strapped, and a 39 tooth rear sprocket. It wasn't lightened up and he was foot shifting it. First pass in Crazy 8's qualifying he went a 8.90 with a 1.48 60'. Even after his crash on the Pro Street Bike, he ened up running an 8.81 with a 1.47 60'. He was looking for a 38 tooth rear sprocket because he said he still couldn't lock it in first, but no one had one. All these passes were in the high 150 mph range. It was impressive seeing him make passes on it with the front tire rolling light on the pavement, he has an amazing clutch hand.
Just thought I would pass on what I saw. I can't wait to see it with a power commander, tuned, with a 38 tooth sprocket, not to mention a Street Meg 2. He may have this stuff by the next race in Rockingham or the next MIR race, but the weather will be even worse and it won't be great for producing stellar times.

IMPRESSIVE!!!

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

Impressive and a little depressing considering I wasn't running a whole lot faster...lol I think my best all out run was a 8.72 before I started changing my shift points trying to dial in for Crazy 8's.

Jeremy's bike isn't as low as it could be either, he said he doesn't want to go to low because he still rides on the street. As much torque as that bike makes, and with the few mods it had, I think that the times are pretty damn good. Air wasn't that great out there this weekend and hell he was riding it after he crashed the Pro Street Bike, limping around. As it was stated above, mod for mod I think that the bike will crush the BMW. Just look at what smokin has done without the bike being lightened up, no race gas, no BST's, etc...

Yeah, we missed you Rick, weather was good, and it will be the last one with decent temps for a while. Hopefully Bike Fest in July won't be too miserable.
