The cheapest way to get your fix is to spend $200 on a new chain and 50T sprocket.
It will FEEL like a 25% power increase throughout the rev range.
Of course, at the moment you can't use all the power in first and second, - with the sprocket you won't be able to go WOT in third or fourth either!
Perhaps one of the people you've gone round insulting will point you to the Pizza shop?

Ahhh i would love to. But i here they can be a nightmare and i have no bike mechanic skills at all like most of you.
If you can bolt up a pipe you can bolt up a turbo kit. Not much more involved than just get it tuned 5-7psi and have fun. Best street toy you will ever have is a turbo bike

I would think a better option then carpenters head and cams would be. Competition CNc's SS head with a little extra porting and bigger TB's wouldn't that yield about the same power increase for significantly less money? Unless the carpenter pricing you are talking is ride in ride out pricing. In that case be about the same money since
You would
Probably have to have someone take off and reinstall your head and TB's
To send them to Jim

If anything try doing all the mods you can without goin into the engine,Try gearing, dyno tune, flies out, reflash ECU and whatever else you can find. Go into the engine when your little mods just wont satisfy anymore.

quote: Yeah it was 10-12hp with just the head but how much more will i get with cams. And dont forget i paid about 1900 for brocks exhaust and pc and i gained 13hp.
John there comes a point of diminishing returns, where you're just throwing money away. 4000 on top of the 1900 you've already spent would buy you a nice stock motor stage one turbo kit. When I was thinking of starting the upgrade process on my 14 I weighed the cost of bolt-on mods and hp gained, vs how much power I really wanted and what I would end up spending to get it. Since I'm a power junkie I realized I could easily spend more than a turbo kits worth of dough over time for just a few hp more......or scratch the itch good the first time and just get'er done once and for all. Nickel and diming you're way up the ladder will cost you wayyy too much money per hp. You have to decide what your goal is and just do it
I shopped around a bit and found a screaming deal on a good used turbo kit and couldn't be happier

(each... hahahahaha).
That's not enough
i have considered spraying, certainly a cheaper way to get to 280, WAY fukken cheaper.
but ...
only a couple turbos are faster than me to the 1/2mile @ 201.7mph, and i purely love rolling on the throttle hard, wow!
and
Every one, and i mean EVERY one i know that sprays over 50-60 shot has melted motors, ALL of em.
On the street forget peak hp, think tq/hp from 6-10k, that's what'll put a smile on yr face.
You are the man 2 busa's at over 280hp that must one crazy ride .
201 miles hr. in 1/2 mile man thats incredible. Boy are busa's nice.
