ZG1400 vs ZX-14 engine question
I'm hoping somebody out there knows.....is there any parts from the ZG motor that I can use on my ZX??? I spun a rod bearing and I can find ZG motors for $600-1000.....and the ZX motors are outrageous. And the rebuild estimates abck to stock are $2500-$3000.....
Anybody get any advice on an acceptable fix that wont break me???

i know .. but peoples call me a dumbass..
you'll come out cheaper tho sending your crank out for repairs.. marine cranks

I agree, if you have someone knowledgeable to rebuild it cheap enough.
otherwise buy used and sell parts off the old engine, save the headache and money.
