Dynojet PCV total price about $1000.00

I spoke with a rep from dyno jet about a map for my 2012 ZX14R W/full Yoshimura it is advertised as pre-down loaded w/maps after installing I was told no maps are available .you should purchase the dyno jet auto tune, so asked several people and asked on this forum
the general opinion was that even after buying an auto tuner I still have to have it dynoed.
so I E-mailed dyno jet and the response was maps are only provided for people who don't have the resources to have there bike's properly dynoed. THAT SHOULD BE THEIR COMPANY SLOGAN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a RIP OFF.

If you spent 1k for a Pc5 and auto, you were totally ripped off. (indysuperbike.com) has the Pc5 for 279.00 (mentioned Hardracing) and get it for 269.00. Also you can get the autotune feature for another 212.00.... I am not sure who advised you, but you don't need a dyno with both of these components. On my 2011 & 2008, I have the Pc5 w/WB 2.. I see my a/f ratio, while I am riding the bike and the auto-tuning is occuring....

You can start with anyone's map, set your parameters and ride the bike, the more you ride the more data it collects. return home, accept the data and the map is complete. Ride the bike again, and accept the data, and the map is more refined....

Bad info ensures wrong decisions....

I like the looks of yoshi's pipe but that's bad for business. Yoshi doesn't offer maps?? Damn, Now you must spend more money to have your machine dyno'd Smdh. I had a muzzy m14 on my 06 and when I inquired about receiving a map for my system, I received a map the same day. Also a
on account for everyone on this board, I know Brock has great map support offered with the product that he sells. I'm very surprised at your discovery and that would also affect any future purchases from myself and others.

There are a lot of threads showing problems with it too, especially dragracing. It wants to just keep adding numbers until it is so rich it fouls plugs and won't idle.

there are ways around that. its due to things like quickshifters, two steps, and on/off throttle. you tune problem areas manually (logging) then just put a 0 in the cells in those areas on the afr table and the problem goes away. you also need to manually tune the startup fuel values and when the autotune actually kicks in. its not quite the set-it-and-forget-it silver bullet everyone expects, but just like the rest of the bike, performance is all in the proper setup.

you paying attention mike?

-I agree with Pwr cdr has been in business for a long time and really know what they are doing.....
-the start-up really isnt' an issue and not hard to adjust. I have not expierenced any overly rich mapping. What ever I select as my target a/f is what I get.. I did notice some issues on the curise circut where tends to run a little rich. I add 0's in the a/f target and tune that area manually... I don't have the autotune, but a wideband 2, it does the autotune and provide digital output so I can see and use the data log features. I put my bike on the dyno to make a map with my WB2. It took less than 10 mins to populate the data and create a full map. My focus was more on 100% throttle, but we did map for the lower cruise circut.....

-so it does work and the customer service I have received from Dusty and team has been on point.... I think there are only 4 bikes equipt with this set up... I have set up all of the bikes with the WB2 w/PcV.
