Holy fuck is right.. Why so much in Canada? I spent hours searching for the best deal and the premiums ran the gamut. I had one company quote me $222 PER MONTH for the ZX14.

I can't believe the rates some of you guys are paying!

I have Amica and my 07 zx14 and 11 zx10 are tagged along with the cars (three cars and one truck),
full coverage on both is less than $100/ month. I'm 30 with decent driving record.

My '12 ZX14 is $500 a year for full coverage through Geico. It was an additional $119 to add a GL1800, Roadstar and GS500. The lowest premium I was quoted for the ZX14 was $287 per year from State Farm but they wanted me to move my cars onto that policy, which would have cost a little more, and they also required me to have homeowners insurance through them which was like $600 more per year than I'm currently paying.

Mass I was right about 600 also for my 07 with progressive. made the phone call at the dealership for the switch to the 2012 and the price doubled uo 1145. Then another 150 for full replacement value the first year. Customer service could not give me a reason for the huge increase.

Big Nickel 14, I had a '07 ZX14 that I bought new and sold almost a year ago. In that time my insurance dropped from a high of $800 per year to a little less than $600 when I sold it last March. Now I have the '12 ZX14 and it's down to $500.

That's insane. I need to move down south or find an address. New york is impossible to find good rates for motorcycle insurance. I got a quote for my 09 r1 with progressive for full coverage with 500 deductible for 2,600 for the year. I am 26, married, with no accidents or tickets and excellent credit. I haven't really shopped around because once they told me that I was discouraged. It's almost impossible. Theoretically, if I do not have an accident within four years, I could have bought another bike cash. It's a rip-off! I'm also considering buying a 14r at the end of the year as a second bike but that's depressing to add to the consideration of purchasing. I wonder why the rates are so high. Back in 06 I had a 14 and a CBR1000RR, the 14 was cheaper to insure then the CBR. The 14 was new and the CBR was two years old at that time. It's all a scheme.

Dude. You are 26 hrs old. It sucks to be young. Grow older it gets cheapermif you keep your record clean. Speedy14

i have state farm and have had my '12 ZX14R insured with them since last march and im up for renewal. Initially it was 335 for the year with the minimum state required and comprehensive w/ a 500 deductible. They sent me my renewal notice and it went up about $30, no change in my driving record. Best explanation i got for the increase was that at the time that bike was a new model and as the year went by and people started putting in claims the insurance company sees how much it is to pay for these claims and they make adjustments across the board.

Has anyone else insurance gone up after their first term with their current insurance company and no change to your driving record?

Just thought you might like to know.

PROGRESSIVE AUTO INSURANCE

You know their TV commercials, the ones featuring the ditsy actress all dressed in white.
What you might not know is that the Chairman of Progressive is Peter Lewis, one of the major funders of leftist causes in America .

Between 2001 and 2003, Lewis funneled $15 million to the ACLU, the group most responsible for destroying what's left of Americas Judeo-Christian heritage.

Lewis also gave $12.5 million to MoveOn.org and America Coming Together, two key propaganda arms of the socialist left.

His funding for these groups was conditional on matching contributions from George Soros, the America-hating socialist who is the chief financier of the Obama political machine.

Lewis made a fortune as a result of capitalism, but now finances a progressive movement that threatens to destroy the American free enterprise system that is targeting television shows on Fox News.

Peter Lewis is making a fortune off of conservative Americans (who buy his auto insurance) that he then applies to dismantle the very system that made him wealthy. He's banking on no one finding out who he is, so STOP buying Progressive Insurance and pass this information on to all your friends.
Chairman Lewis' gift helps the ACLU promote their anti-Christmas agenda such as:
§ Removing nativity scenes from public property
§ Banning songs such as Silent Night from schools
§ Refusing to allow students to write about the Christian aspect of Christmas in school projects
§ Renaming Christmas break Winter break
§ Refusing to allow a city sponsored Christmas parade to be called a Christmas parade
§ Not allowing a Christmas tree in a public school
§ Renaming a Christmas tree displayed on public property a Holiday tree
In addition to their war on Christmas, the ACLU uses gifts like that from Chairman Lewis to:
§ Sue states to force them to legalize homosexual marriage
§ Force libraries to remove porn filters from their computers
§ Sue the Boy Scouts to force them to accept homosexuals as scout leaders
§ Help legalize child pornography
§ Legalize live sex acts in bars in Oregon
§ Protect the North American Man Boy Love Association whose motto is "sex by eight or it is too late"
§ Censor student led prayer at graduation
§ Remove "under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance
§ Remove "In God We Trust" on our currency

Yeah, kinda makes me wonder why the fuck I bust my butt working particularly when some worthless never worked in their life motherfuckers are living in bigger, nicer houses & driving brand fucking new cars when mine has over 150k on it & my house needs all kind of big buck repairs. And don't even get me started on illegal immigrents & foreign aid & all the hand outs they get. Fuck the weeny ass motherfuckering politicians who give all our taxes away (well all except for the millions/billions they put in their own pockets).

Top reason not to 'customize/modify your streetbike in Toronto.
Agent - "Mr. Randall, have you done any modifications to your bike?" Me - Silence, "ah a few"...... Agent - "that's nice, 3400.00!"
