Touch-up paint for bottom of forks found

If your like me you cant stand paint chips, well the lower forks (where the axle pinch bolts are is one of the first places to get blasted by bugs, pebbles ect and start to chip. This can be unsightly. I took a shot in the dark and picked up a can of Dupli-Color BUN0090 (got it at napa) Universal black Met in a 8oz spray can.
After carefully lightly sanding (I used 400 grit) the front area of the lower forks and taping it off (tape lines at the bends so it hides the paint lines) and a few Light coats, the paint matches so well you CANT tell the difference. A 8.00 fix that will have the lower end of your sand blasted forks looking new again.
Also Ace has the propper size chrome or stainless bolts to replace the crusty/rusty front axle pincebolts.
Its all in the details!!

KHM used a different color on the 06 forks and wheels then 07 for sure. Also noticed they used flat ebony on a lot of things in 09 on the frame and engine etc.. not sure about forks. My point not all are the same, best check.

Thanks, mine is an 08, and I should point out that you dont want to over sand it, you want to keep the textureing. Just a quick rub with the 400 works great.
