Gear Indicator
My gear indicator will read one gear lower after I get in two 3rd gear it is a 2006 model I have one of the first version speedohealer on it with a 16 tooth sprocket up front it has been acting like this for a long time when going down the road in sixth gear it reads 5th I have notice if you put your foot on shifter and hold up it well read sixth for a few seconds then goes back to fifth gear on indicator was wondering if the speedohealer was making it do this or if the sensor that tells the bike what gear it is in is bad. Anyone else have this issue and what did you do to correct the problem. Thanks in advance for anyone with some information.

my bonneville box from muzzys did the same thing. just ignored it after awhile

Would there b an issue with bike running a 5th gear map other than 6th? I thought the ecumenical had different ignition n fuel maps per gear?
