centerstand

Does Kawi sell a centerstand for the 14. I see twisted throttle has one listed for it, but does not say if 14R is the same. I know most of you would not want the added weight, or reduced clearance, but I'm wanting to do some sport touring on mine, and the chain would be a lot easier to lube and maintain with one.

Yes, they sell one for the 14. You need to remove the lower cowling between the frame and the rear tire & it bolts to the same holes the cowling attached to. The lifting support attaches to the left side of the frame and tail support area.

if you go to the European kawi site it shows Kawi part number 999940343 for the center stand for the 2012.
It shows part number 999940125 for the 2006-2011 models.

the usa kawi site has a different number also of 99994-0052 for the 2006-2011 model years.

You should be able to call your local stealership and have them cross reference the part numbers and see which one matches up in their system.

Here's a couple pics with one installed......I used a hose clamp on the left side to hold a rubber bumper for it to stop on when up.
