This is going to sound crazy.

Has anyone else had the problem of Yellow Jackets, Wasps, and cats attracted to the green color of the 14R SE?

No, but the pigs seem to be attracted. Always chasing them.

I just cleaned my BMC a few days ago and there were plenty of Bees and hornets wedged in the filter. They are attracted to white also

I have the 14R SE. And yesterday a bird shit on it at work. I don't recall that ever happening on my '06. I think that bass-boat flake that happens in sunlight attracts the feathered bombers. Looks like springtime might mean keeping Quik Detailer and Raid in my tank bag!

Insects are attracted to bright light, cats, any source of food. No surprise. I did not have to slap the fairing to get rid of pests on the 07.

My friend who rides a yamaha also reports having to clean bugs of the front of a regular basis. He did not specify hornets or bees. He just said he finds little blood spots and partial bug carcasses all around the front end in general. Im Wondering if this affects other motorcycle manufacturers besides kawi and yamaha.

I'm not quite sure how to respond to this...
I have the same problem with my truck and my wife's car. I think they are just attracted to the front bumpers in general. They are not very good at playing "frogger."

You guys have no clue to what totally gross bug splatter is all about until you ride in South central Florida. From about this time of year( love bugs that smell rancid as their guts are splattered and dried ) followed by all kinds of flying critters as the season progresses.

Shit,,,,,,, I nearly nailed or got nailed by a friggin' turkey buzzard 2 weeks ago.

I do understand. South GA is not mug better.
Actually we go through stages, depending on the weather. Some nights you can ride and only have a few bugs on the front. Others, it's like it's raining bb's

My old KZ1000 seemed to attract birds while riding, I can't tell you how many birds I hit or almost with that bike including a hawk.... that one rung my bell for a second or two. Haven't even come close to hitting one with my 14. Bugs on the other hand have been terrible this year, my wife is always taking the bugs off my face after a ride...LOL

Me and the wife did a gorgeous 120 mile loop of our surrounding mountains yesterday....had a ball. But the bugs and clean-up sucks. Sometimes I wonder why I bother lol.
I see why some guys say less cleaning more riding.....
hell with the cars we just use the touchless car wash...maybe time for the bikes?
