Anyone using 3 arm Gann slider, or can I get help with slider?

I have a 3 arm (older style) Gann multistage / slider (using it in slider mode) and having problem with it "creeping" at 3500 rpm with only 8 grams on each arm (bgolt and nut only). Anyone have any idea what to do? My air gap was sitting around .123ish, Blake Gann told me .090-.120 air gap. Ive been playing with the air gap and weights and cant get it to sit still. Plates arent warped, inner hub is fine, actually had it cleaned up, new springs on it. I am not understanding what im missing. If someone has any ideas to help out I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks

Try stronger springs first if you have them to raise the stall speed.

I talked to Blake Gann, Shawns dad. He is the designer of this clutch, he said the springs DO have to be changed after a few races. The bike will creep if they are worn. I actually went up from .055 thick wire springs to .063 thick wire springs. I am a heavier guy (220 suited) and im sure these clutches are setup for 160-170 pound guys. So I automatically went to heavier springs. Thinking about a way to pin the 2 plates together, Gann's clutch is a 2 piece hat. Also I want to try to use springs to give it tension against itself so it is harder for the slider to engage.
