you keep saying that like we should respect you because you are some undefeated street fighter. Even if you have never lost a street fight it doesn't appear you fit in here, we are large in number but it's a small community at zx14.com, disagreement and threats are two different things, you may want to check yourself GixxerJohn. Rather than making psychical threats to our members you might have a better time and enjoy joining another website. Just sayin....

GixxerJohn, when I came to Bikeland I was an outcast, I came from zx14.net which was a bazaar site to say the least, I tried to make things work there, but I am who I am and realized it wasn't for me, came here and it took a while to shake off the label I had from the other site, I just kept being myself until members here could see me as I was, I'm not trying to be someone I'm not, nor am I trying to kiss up to someone. I also had to get thick skinned really fast , I urge you to do the same.

Deep breath, count to 10
There have been some great keyboard 'scraps' on Bikeland before.
Yours so far have been pussies!
Heck, they haven't even warmed up yet... Correction: Haven't even got out of bed yet!
LOL!

GixxerJohn, well I guess sometimes you can get a bumpy ride on here. But most of the time the information is pretty good.
I'll try to answer your question, the difference between a 60° day and 80° day is about 4 hp, but here's a number that a lot of people don't take in account. Its barometric pressure, the difference between a 29.00 and a 30.00 difference in pressure = about 6 hp own a 200 hp motor. It's hard to see sometimes, because both days can be 80° and 50% humidity, but the barometer is one full point off its going to cost you 6 hp, and you really don't feel anything different in the weather. The very metric pressure works like a small supercharger, one full point higher in the pressure equals 6 hp, 1 pound of boost equals about 10 hp, so you get the ideal
so if you take the 4 hp for the 20° difference in air, and if there was one full point in the barometric pressure = 11 horsepower, and yes, 11 hp is noticeable.

Wow good info, thanks rich.i dont kn ow maybe im getting use it, but bfore when i nailed the trottle in 2nd and even third it would get lose the handlebars and the bike would be trying to buck me off. Even this morning on the way to work it was in the 50's and when i applied full throttle it was just very smooth all the way to redline without much drama

Since you said if you had a real problem you wouldn't ask a bunch of strangers on a board, why not take your bike to a dealership and let them check it out since it's under warranty?

Either you're just making this up or there REALLY IS something very wrong with your 14R.
When I "nail" mine, it just feels like a very powerful electric motor kicked in - just massive, smooth acceleration - NO handlebars getting loose, NO trying to buck me off.
That sounds like something you would make up, never having ridden a 14R.

Gixxerjohn, I am pretty new to ZX-14.com, and I have asked some dumb questions, not one person gave me a hard time, I got corrected in a friendly and polite way, and I don't even have bike yet, you know why, because I didn't start insulting and swearing at the members !
I don't say your questions are dumb, in fact I have learnt a lot from them.
If I was you, I would apologise to everyone for making insults and threats, and from then on be polite to the members, if you say you will change your attitude, I am sure most everyone will cut you some slack.
This site has some world leading experts on these machines, and on top of it they are pretty humble, and it is a privelege to be part of this forum.

GixxerJohn, most of the country right now is under a low pressure system. If you look at your weather tonight, and you see that big L on the weather map. That some of your problem but if you see the big H for high pressure hanging over your house that day then it's probably not.
don't feel bad though, if you lose 10 hp . The Pro Stock car guys lose about 300 hp, moving from sea level towns to Colorado's mile high track, it's amazing what a little pressure and a little oxygen can do for you, or should I say work against you.
here in Texas. My bike loses about 22 hp from absolute best, to absolute worst conditions.
