Brocks alien head or tsukigi cannon

I'm in the process of giving my bike a makeover and I want to change my exhaust from a 4-2-1 tsukigi full exhaust and I'm thinking about going with a alien head or a cannon. Which is louder and will give more power on a stock motor? Is the cannon worth the extra $400

Brocks or Muzzy M14 are two of the best on a stock ZX-14 06/2011 with PCIII etc and map. For the money a M14 is less $$ and is very close on HP I have used them both. Brocks is more popular here and Does have better Customer Service after the sale. It comes down to which one has the Look you like best as they are that close on the Dyno. Do a search here as Sticks and Stones and GilbertJJ did a Dyno test on both. By the way Sticks M14 won by a HP or 3. Different bikes with different milage done on the same dyno the same day..... that close. I bet if Sticks had a Brocks he would still have won that day as some engines just run better then others. Cam chain stretch etc lots of small things that can make a small difference.

I have a Cannon and I love it but I am really into weight reduction so I have to say go with a Ahead if the price is the same. Also I would wonder what kind of customer service you could get with a Cannnon these days? Pretty hard to find sellers in the US. Not that you would need customer service cuz it's so high quality and fits perfect, nothing will be needed. You may scrape a spring hook if you like to corned but any welder can fix that for you.

I'd go with the Ahead. 8 lbs. Cannon is 18 lbs shipping weight. Very similar performance and sound but the Cannon is gonna win for loud if that's what you like. Wear your earplugs. LOL I saw a kid across the street clap his hands over his ears today when I took off! LOL

i personally like the cannon, but i like being different also.
The cannon is a work of art and i wouldn't cry over 1 or 2 hp cause you will likely never know the difference unless your a pro street guy or go racing every day.

Two Wheel Werkz is a dealer for tsukigi and can get them if you want. He is listed on their website.

The cannon sound..is definitely unique. I've owned the alien head...so id be partial to it. Plus I know the AH makes the power and runs good times

I went to brocks website and sent an email regarding the AH 2 on the first gen 14's and a rep named Sara replied back sayingit would not fit, but I hear people on this board saying it will. Has anyone tried it or just going by assumptions?

here is the email about the price straight from the dealer in California
" Hello. My name is Tadashi. I work for Tsukigi Racing in U.S.Thank you very much for your interest in our exhaust. We have Full system with cannon canister for ZX-14. It has 115db and can increase 10-15hp just install it(without mapping). The price is $1461(include shipping). If you have any question, please let me know. Best Regards, Tadashi."

this is the email that the sales rep sent earlier
" Good Morning,

Currently we have not manufactured an Alien Head 2 that will fit the 2006 model. We will be producing this model at some time, however an ETA is not available at this time.

The difference between the 1 & 2 systems is that system 1 is 2 ¼” inlet and tapers to a 2” baffle. System 2 is 2 ¼” throughout, making system 2 flow better due to the fact that the tapering does not prohibit the flow.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Thank You,

Sara"

Well that price is crazy for just the cannon, I think mine was around 800-900 but I bought it with a bazzaz and filter for 1200 I think. I think the cannon looks awesome and sounds great but I must me a little of a pansi because I bought the busa quiet kit for the cannon and retrofit it to fit my 14. It is true support for the cannon is lacking though. If I had to do it over again I might have gotten a muzzy but the looks are so awesome with the cannon.

I know its on the high side, thats why I started to lean towards the AH I was going to get the cannon just for the sound but after doing my research I don't think I really wanted to spend $1400 on sound. Im trying to get more accurate information on the AH system. The AH two is louder rush the original and produces more power and cheaper than the cannon. I how mr.Brock chime in try to explain why the sales rep say the newer system will not work.

I wouldn't worry to much about that. Looks like the rep made a mistake - it happens. Probably a confusing time for all of Brocks team with all the exhaust mods being sorted for the R14.

If Brocks says it fits - as posted above, and other guys says it fits, then it fits.

And if for whatever it didn't fit, then i'm prety sure Brock would do whatever it takes to fix it.
