2012 ZX-14R Super Sport Engine

The Super Sport engine package is done and testing will begin soon.

Thanks to Rickey for helping out with this project. He brought us a "never even started" out of the crate bike to use as a test bed for the 2012 ZX-14r SS package.

More to come soon......

Jim, thanks for that update. Do you think there is any casting improvements in the head compared to older models? and do you think the 12 head will fit older models?

Jim,

Do you expect the R headwork to show as good as results as the 1st gen?

Would love to see just how much an improvement the 47's would make with a R with bolt-ons.

Thanks Rg,

At least you have been riding yours.... having fun.... are you planning to bring the SS prepped bike to SGMP for the Apr race? As you would know it everyone is very interested in this bike running Real street on a SS prepped motor.... I am thinking at 64 inch, SS w/shock, gearing, good gas... that bike should run low 8's. That's with a pros of course

With the stock bore TB's what kind of power increase was had?

I am pretty sure the 06-11 could be bored to 48mm, it was just not recommended due to how little material was left afterwards. There are people that had it done.

I have some 48's...but others have gone bigger on the stock TB's.
