212 rwhp 2011 zx10????
I got a local guy telling me his 2011 zx10 with some ecu mod and a exhaust is making 212 rwhp? This seems like ALOT, someone on here school me because he is telling me how he is going to drag my 14r down the road.

If that's true, he will never have the torque yours has.

he may do it.; if you don't have mod for mod on your bike that he has on his.
I hope you have @ least body weight advantage to make up for some of 100lb lighter bike he is riding.
.now that we are passed the physics:Riding is the most important: part..
just a few pointers:
strat from a slow roll (hit in 1st gear at about 6000-7000rpm if you can handle it)
someone has to hit first, it may as will be you
run rpms up as far as you can with out hitting rev. limiter in every gear
tuck tight
gear your bike for the race you have at hand, make sure your bike is geared to make the most toque it can,and will still have enough gear to cross the finish line.

I happen to have 2011 zx10r, with the ECU moded. The full exhaust really don't add much at power wise. Brock doesn't offer a full exhaust. He did build one, but didn't offer it to the public.
On good gas, tuned the bike will make around 200 rwhp. So be very careful when pull beside him, he may just get that butt. I suggest that you roll in the lower RPMs, not 6 to 7K.
Mine spin up very fast, so rolling that high will get you an ass whooping

I am about same weight. I am going to start in first and leave slippin like I was leaving from a dig as he and everyone I talked to said he can't keep it down. I did not know those things made so much power.

I thought they were in the 180's myself, y'all weight the same, should b a good race! Id want to start from a dead stop race, but ur torque carries for a long rpm range so u might b good on a roll on from 5k I would think, sure wish I had a 14r, lol, on a roll I wouldn't bother slipping the clutch, just roll it full throttle nice an smooth, from my understanding in a certain mode u can punch it and the computer will compensate n keep the bike from wheeling while still pulling, others with a 14r would know

I ride in a group sometimes with a modded 2011 10 and BMW 1000R, they are the 2 fastest bikes by far in the group, really in a league of their own. I 'm pretty sure the new 14 is in that same league and probably at the top. I wouldn't underestimate that 10 though. Kawasaki has the 10 and 14 listed as putting out the same crank hp stock-210 on their euro website. I don't really believe those numbers any more, but thats whats listed...

That's kinda steep hp I believe....
I recently ran a buddy on his 2011 ZX10R with the usual bolt-ons, Guhl ECU & BST's on my 14 with headwork, 47TB's, ZX10R wheels & pipe. We both weigh about the same at 200lbs.
We hit it in second (it's a mile long straight) from down low & I killed him, the 14's torque overcame his bikes weight.
Second run was in his sweet-spot (way up there) and I let him have the hit. I immediately drove around him and beat him by 5 or 6 length's according the the guys at 1/2 mile. He said he never could reel me back in.
On the same dyno, a DJ250, his makes 190hp on pump gas to my 205, the torque made the difference.

My old 05 zx10 had 176RWHP & it was a bitch keeping the front down but think the 05 was lighter, that 05 zx10r was one hell of a bike!

I'm not sure about this particular bike, but the 10R that Brock tested made 202 STD/85 ft-lbs with MR12 fuel, PCV, Guhl ECU, and his slip on (which apparently works very well on the 10R due to a good factory header). On the other hand, his 14R has already made 223 STD/131 ft-lbs on MR12 without tuning. Both bikes on his dyno.

When it comes to roll-ons, 6-7k with low gearing in 1st is the 14s sweet spot; however, you will have to have very good clutch control. Keep the mph low by slipping the clutch and the torque will shoot the zx14 out front of just about anything streetable, mod for mod.

well, it had every bolt on, a computer reflash and the rider and me were both about 200#s... he put 2-3 bikes on me by 150mph.. I beat his buddys done up cbr1000, and his other buddys BMW.... that zx10 whipped my ass.
I could hold him off till about 100 then he would roll right past me.

That bike has more mods than he told u... And he is probably right about his claimed HP.
Did u check what kind of gearing he had??

Maybe just take the big cans off the stock exhaust, didn't somebody run 2-3 tenths faster when they were removed?

I doubt if he sprayed you. The race sounds about right given his claimed horsepower. I'd think if he sprayed you he'd pass you like you were tied to a stump.
