PCV problem (2008 EU model)?

Hi all!

Any ideas what would cause this?

Symptoms:
- runs very rich, stalls w/o throttle
- PCV data is really wild!! RPM is jumping everywhere between 1 and 14k, so is TPS.

video clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C49xRJdXuxU

I hadn´t time today to try it without PC, but have you guys ever met problem like this?

Thanks, SamiN

Start of with checking your Ground. If it's behind the Rad Fluid bottle maybe clean or relocate. Make sure all plugs make the click.

I´ve checked groundings, new plugs, battery ok etc. just made 36.000km (22.000 miles?) service.

PC is just out of box, I did try couple of different maps, all same nonsense. No ECU error codes.

Mods: Flies out, PCV+QS+lambda eliminator, slipons with stock header, pair blocked, Datalogger logging LC-1 CH 1+2/TPS/GPS/crankshaft.

Fimware ?

Check marks in software where there should be none ?????

If the install is good let Dyno-Jet tech support link into your computer while plugged into your bike. Won't take them long to see if your unit is set up ok. This might save you some time. The No ECU codes pointing to the PCV if your bike was fine before.

Sure sounds like mine did when the ground was shit. Did you try going back to Negative side of the batt ?

Sorry, but I didnt fully understand that?
If you meant my logger data, thats as upset as my PCV data is.

I´ll try w/o PC first, thats ok, for sure. And if it´s still bogging, I´ll contact DJ tech. support.

Thanks, SamiN

It works now like a charm. Unknown (yet) problem with data logger was causing all PC problems. I need to recheck all wirings.

Update; all problems was caused by me, to connecting wideband controller and datalogger groundings to subframe. It was all about potential differences.

Case closed.

You guys STOP grounding it or anything to the bottle .. The wire is long and will bolt right to the top bolt on the stator cover ....

Also, remember to disconnect any chargers (especially battery charger, but laptop charger too!) when connecting PCV to you laptop. This can cause same kind of troubles too.
