I have the oval carbon fiber dual slip-ons and like em lot. Sounds really deep and the weight loss is dramatic to feel.
Paid right at 900 .. They have pics on the website

Wfobusa, do yourself a favor, don't tell anyone else you paid $900 for slip ons when a full system is only a couple hundred more

1bad, if someone posted they paid $2,000 for slip ons, it doesn't matter which name brand, the same response would be given

some people like the look of dual slip ons and don't care about extra hp, there is nothing wrong with that..

You gotta remember, this forum is full of dragracers, so power gains are everything to these guys lol. But I agree with Shawnski and 1Bad, the new 14 has more than enough power stock for lots of people, I think dumping those GIGANTIC HEAVY ASS exhausts and losing a TON of weight while making the bike look WAY better and MUCH smaller, and make it handle WAY better to boot, plus gaining a couple hp and improving the power to weight ratio a bunch, without having to tear the bike apart, is worth 900 bucks to a lot of people.
I've heard the new 10 and 14 have excellent exhausts straight from the factory. I wonder how much a header swap really gains you in usable power? Or does it just give you more peak power by taking it away from the low end and midrange? I've heard that most of the restrictions are in the cat and mufflers anymore?

My sentiments exactly MJ .. I buillt my last 14 for top speed at Maxton. This new bike is for sport touring and riding the mountains. This is my 3rd ZX14 and is one of the best and most fun bikes Ive ever owned.
I appreciate the help Ive received from the boardmembers here ... but wtf ??
I dont like being called a fool ....
I just returned from a 1900 mile ride on my ZX14R to Key West and back through Daytona bike week.. Not many of you guys ride distances like that on your bikes..most of you are into going quarter of a mile at a time .. and thats cool .. they wouldnt develop bikes like this without guys like you. It takes all kinds I guess, but dont hate me cause I bought slip ons !!
