Smaller Reservoir for Brake Fluid Reservoir?
Can the small clutch fluid reservoir on the left side handlebar replace the larger one on the right and work as well as the larger unit?
This would seem to be less clutter on the tripple clamp and make both sides of the cockpit more consistent instead of having a large one on the right....and a smaller one on the left?

just think the brake reservoir is larger for the fact that you need more fluid for 2 brake calipers. you could replace the brake one with a smaller one but the plain fact is that you need enough fluid to operate your brakes...its just me but i like having extra brake fluid especially in the front. i would hate for you top replace it then go test ride and then your front brakes not work 100%. id leave it as is... or just dress up your reservoir.

It will work fine, you'll just have to change fluid more often as it will get contaminated faster being a smaller volume.

the extra fluid in the resevoir is what fills the calipers as the pads wear....got nothing else to do with it. If you use too small a resevoir and don't monitor it, you will run out of fluid when your pads get thin.
It' all gets contaminated the same...
the clutch or rear brake require a smaller resevoir since there is less volume at the slave or caliper.
If you do swap to a smaller one...just monitor the level more closely and you'll be just fine.
