Headlight Pics of 2012 ZX14R at night??
Can someone post some pics taken at night of the stock headlights taken from the front on both the low and the high beam configurations?
Want to see if they need to be upgraded to HID or if stock is enough for high speed night driving...
Thanks,

Hey GoldWing
In my opinion the stock lights should really be brighter .....I installed HIDs low beems 5000K and a brighter whiter hologen set for the Highs so I can use my passing flasher button without a delay.

I had all 4 done on my 07 but the hid take a few minutes to warm up so since Kawi decided to bless us with a passing switch on the 14R I decided to just do the low beams and have halogens in the hi beams so the bright flash isinstantaneous .

I've looked in my owners manual as well as the service manual and can't find anything that lists what headlight comes in the 2012. I believe it might be the H9 but can someone let me know for sure before I order HID's?
Thanks

Why not try riding the motorcycle at night, possibly even at high speed and see if the headlights are ok ?

The zx14 has the brightest stock headlights of any bike I've owned. I don't think it really needs hid's like some do. Of course if it's an upgrade you need spend away.

I personally like the bright white light at night and with the slight blue tint looks super cool.

Wee's got his stock lamp on that left pic.I left the parking lamps alone...you can see the difference there.A lot depends on the aiming.
