Doesn't look like I will be heading back to the track until the 31st, this weekend looks like rain, and there is big events the next 2 weeks.

Im ordering my shorai battery soon, I'm going to try ethanol free gas to see if I can squeeze a little more power out of it. Also getting the nitrogen bladder in my shock recharged to see if I can slow down the rebound damping some.

Looks like KawasakiJockey was correct on my shock issue, took it to Gravett Racing in Beaumont today and the nitrogen bladder only had 30psi in it. Will be testing again on the 31st to see if I can improve my times.

Well, I May have spoke to soon. Put the shock back on the bike and it looks like my rebound issue is worse, I'm not to familiar on how the nitrogen bladder effects the shock but it seems worse.

That's is what I am thinking, when the spring is off the shock it seems like it rebounds very slow, once I put the spring on it doesn't work right, and it's a stock spring.

Did kevin put 200psi of charge in it? I think that is what Litz puts in them. With 150-200psi it would dampen correctly. All the nitrogen bladder does is keep the oil at a constant pressure under damping conditions so it does not foam or cavitate from the rapid strokes of the piston, as in the squat of a bike on the launch. I witnessed a guy bleed off a shrader valve on a revalved suzuki shock to speed up the rebound and then recharge it to slow it down. At the time I had no idea that it would do that until I saw him pushing the bike down, I always thought it was the opposite. Without the nitrogen the oil doesnt move through the shock efficiently.

I had him put in 175psi, it made the compression stiffer, but the rebound is faster. I really think something may be wrong with the shock, I've already spent way to much money on the bike lately, so im just going to have to deal with it for awhile. I think even though it rebounds so fast it may still help me because it's so much more .

You had absolutely no rebound or compression damping at all before so it really isnt faster. Its just that the compression is stiffer now so the shock is not stroking down as far as before making it seem like it returns quicker. PM me your number Cody, I need to talk to you.
