Wiring for air shifter on new 2012 14r only
Here is a neater drawing of the setup for a 14r I am just putting it out there for anyone who wants to use it. It works great on my bike I have already tested it. Lee doesn't want to use because of problems he had. The biggest thing is to cut the wires BEFORE the connector for the left handlebar switch assembly (leave the factory wires alone after the connector which is located to the left of the ram air tube) The relay cost about five dollars and the switch from Radio Shack cost about four dollars. The biggest thing you have to do is to isolate a ground off one of the two wires that you cut then use the toggle switch and relay to do the rest of the work for you. worked for me, cut the wires near the horn button, not after the connector down by the horn like Tom said. I mounted a toggle switch so I can turn the horn button on and off if I want to use autoshift.Thanks KAWITOM

Any time there is a discussion about using the horn button for the air shifter, I think of Smokinzx14's story. I did a search for it to get the exact quote:
"My second pass was really funny , As i shifted from first to second gear i hit the horn button 3 times before i remembered i didn't have and air shifter !!!!"

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

Is it possiable to just use the positive that comes from the horn to activate the power on the solenoid and the mps box to trigger the airshifter, and just ground the blue and black wire from the mps box and solenoid?
