The Alien Head 2 offers: More ground clearance, more room for the added fan, bigger flange kit and a deeper sound than the Alien Head for the Gen 1 14's. We also moved the power curve up, since the 14R has a stroker engine and doesn't need additional low end power. We also believe many people will opt for an extended ECU, but we couldn't make a pipe that wouldn't work great with a stock ecu... so we have the best head pipe and secondary collector length for both.

The ShortMeg 2 is the exact same pipe from a performance standpoint, they just have a different shape and the SM2 has a removable baffle since it is round. We use a press to install the Alien head baffles, so they are not user serviceable.

***All of this with NO increase in cost for either system.***

FYI: The Ti systems make slightly more power. Many of the advancements we made to the stainless line were already built into the Ti line and the Ti system construction and tubing size inherently make them more powerful. Unfortunately, it also makes them about 50% more expensive.

Choose based on look/sound/quality(fit-finish etc.) and budget. Performance is going to be close enough that most people will not be able to notice the difference... although I usually say that till I'm blue in the face to most guys.

I think Racheal has eyes for a blue 14R now...uh-oh....

The Streetmeg 2 will be the new system front half with our existing long megaphones. The previous Alien Head and ShortMegs tapered from 2.25 inlet to 2.00 outlet. That works fine up to about 200 RWHP. The new '2' versions are 2.25 full through. Our long megaphones (Streetmegs and sidewinders) have always been 2.25 full through - that's why you see them on modified race bikes (drag and land speed).

They are being produced as we speak - I am looking for a 2 week delivery... but we keep increasing the order, so it might be 3 weeks.

are these new pipes for the 14R only or would a stock gen 1 ZX-14 benefit from using the new design?

I think "Hindle" makes them for Brock. But if I was you I would buy it from Brock. I'm not sure, but I think you can buy just the front section if thats all you want.

Any "GP Style" exhaust system can burn you if you don't put your feet on the front pegs - or, your passenger has size 12 feet and takes off her "work shoes"!

You can view the system clearance here: Brock’s Performance 2012 ZX-14R Alien Head 2 Exhaust System

No. Brock's Performance exhaust are not available in kit form, although we will sell individual components as a customer courtesy ( for crash repair etc.) call for details 937-912-0054.
