Replacing pegs for passenger

Hey, first post here.
For my 1st question I'm just wondering if anyone has looked for some different passenger pegs. The wife is adamant about getting some comfier pegs and I haven't had any luck finding a direct fit upgrade. Just wondering if I can go with a C14 fitment? We're looking for something longer and preferably with some rubber on top.
thanks

welcome, I'm betting 90% of the riders here have their passenger pegs in a box with the stock exhaust. good question though. maybe look into a concourse seat as well. bolts right on with 14 hardware

Welcome Edge, Competition Werkes makes aftermarket passenger pegs but there is no rubber on them so not sure it would be an improvement. dcjens is right about the Concours seat. Im currently using one and it is a little higher than stock because its thicker and gives a little more leg room for the driver. I like it so much I am selling my Corbin!

Set of OEM rubber covered font pegs would replace original rear ones very nicely and make your significant other very happy.

I'm wanting to buy a set of Buell pegs for me and move mine to the back for her.........should be do-able..........but temporarily, I slip a couple short pieces of silicone hose over her pegs to help with comfort.......so far so good, and she's complaining less about foot pain after riding for a while -- but it's a hideous modification!! Lol!! Glad it's a temporary fix

I like the suggestion of OEM pilot foot pegs, replacing the passenger pegs. Does anyone know whether this would work for the 2012 ZX-14?

putting fronts on rear is not a direct bolt on. The front pin is much larger in diameter than the rear one. Also, the width of the opening is smaller on the rear. You'd have to remove some material and put a bushing in to take up the slack on the pin.

For some quality, lowered front pegs, try Murphs C14 lowering pegs. I have them on my 14 and are a very good comfort upgrade. Buell pegs have always looked cheap and flimsy and then you have to drill out the pin hole leaving even less material. Murphs are milled out of a solid chunk of aluminum and are wider leaving you a lot more room to move your feet around and a whole lot more comfy than stock pegs.

I'm still working on a replacement set of pegs for the wife as well...not looked at the rear C14 pegs so I don't know if those are any better or not.

Just FYI, I ended up buying ISO-wings from Kuryakin. They're like mini streamlined floor boards. The bike was totaled last year but this is what they looked like. I still have them if anyone wants them...
