At the ecu it looks like Black is #1, Black/Red Tracer #2, Black/Orange Tracer #3, Black/Green Tracer #4, might get that confirmed before doing it...

So the same pin numbers r the same coils as an o7 just different color code? I have mps autoshifter but directions say that 1 brown lead has a mark that needs to be hooked up to #1 coil n rest don't matter but no marks are on either brown lead...

Guess that was what that pencil mark is, I was looking at rge actual wires, any pics on where u tapped into coils at ecu? And r the pin locations same as above just different color codes?

the numbers should be molded in, look on the other plug, 1-2-3-4. only #1 is necessary to be correct.

Nothing else on it, can someone tell which pin is #1 by relation to plug itself?

Sorry, reread, the molded tip on plug itself is denotes number 1 besides that the wires inside plug shows that being 1 then below that says 2, the one to the right is in the 5 spot but its probably for spacing since the number 3 is in between but skipped, same as number 4 is skipped n pin is in #6 spot, will give it a go tomorrow night, now just tapping into these darn coil wires! Lol, it was real easy on a gsxr 1000, after air box removal coils were staring u right in the face!!! Any pics of soldering job n location other than just saying at ecu?

Soldered wires off the ecu under tool kit box, pretty easy to do and ended up looking pretty neat and tucked away, especially after putting the tool kit back over it, also put the T with the pressure switch in that spot n the corner, put the pump right in the middle forward of the seat latch, actually mounted solenoid directly on the ram., read a more positive shift, ran the horn/shifter switch n pump on and off in ram air covers, put the mps auto kill box in beside the battery, nice fit, will b a lil bit of a pain adjusting the kill time but once its set its a done deal, Just didn't want to lose tool kit box, I used compression fittings, pressure switch is a 125/150 psi switch, read most if y'all were running 150 psi, also I have no air tank, pump kicks n for a sec in between shifts, autoshift n horn shift worked great, kill time is near 75 (middle of travel) feels likest can be sped up some more, that'll have to wait til sat, thanks for ur insight wee, if I ever do it again I may Just use plug n play lee, but then it wouldn't be fun would it, lol

i put my mps kill box under the windscreen. fits like a charm in there. plus its easy to adjust kill time. just remove the windscreen. thats alot easier then being in the battery box..... but on a side note congrats on the setup....

OK what am I missing other than a fully functional brain? Lee I know you used to use the Schnitz plug n play coil harness. What does splicing into the ECU harness gain you? At first guess I'd say getting rid of any extra wire is a plus but is it worth the risk to any warranty concerns?

A question for those that have done this. Are you soldering the brown MPS wire to the pin in the ECU connector or cutting the 4 trace wires and soldering the 3 ends together? Any pics?

Biggmo, no air tank? What 125/150 pressure switch are you using?

My ply guess as to why back at ecu is because its easier getting to then top of coils, but that's just my guess, better kill at the source, lol

I also think once ur kill time is setup how u want it there's no need for further adjustments, I may end up with a small bottle, it worked fine last night through all 6 gears but im still stick gearing, may b a problem with lowering gearing if pump can't get enough pressure in time of the shift, I get my 16T any day now, I'll b going with a 43 or 44 after I stretch it

another reason i put it under the windscreen is because i put my air compressor in the battery area...i have my bottle on the left side rear sub frame.... until i get my swing arm..
