Check this out folks. The 50 BMG is small compared to this one.

Cool but I'll stick with the Barrett M82A1 with the BORS System my wife just bought me for my 50th.

Just curious isn't the m82a1 a military distinction? Wouldn't the civilian version have a different model
Number? Or do you have the military version and if so do you
Mind me asking where she bought it? Of course I could be completely wrong I know more about bikes than I do guns

I have the exact model fielded by the USMC known as the M82A1M or M82A3, including the longer accessory rail, Leupold Mark 4 4.5-14x50mm, rear mono-pod (for the long waits between targets) and the finest trigger I've ever felt with a clean and silky smooth break with just a bit over 2 lb trigger pull. Barrett makes no distinction between military designation and civilian, both carry the M in the front of the model number. Haven't broken in the barrel yet, it takes 25 rounds and MANY bore cleanings and coolings and makes it a many hour affair. She bought it at a Barrett dealer south of Seattle . . . with the help of a friend. She also picked up a couple of M4 Carbines for the door of our M977A2 HEMTT, just to make the doors look better.

I have quite a bit of time behind the M107 with a schmidt and bender. I love me some .50 cal but I think that if I was going to build a barrett it would be a .416.
