I have a pieced together cyclelogics turbo kit and upgraded muzzy fuel pump and rail,I opted for a better oil pump because I thought that the one that came with the kit looked crappy the holley pump works good!!! And as far as advice and tuning I would go to CHRIS JONES!!!!!!!!

No scavenger pump on my Jones Performance turbo race kit. No smoke EVER, and i a have six quart oil pan. Turbos mounted nice and high. Quit wasting your money and time with other kits and just go to Chris if you want your zx14 to have reliability, longevity, and power. Two years now and hasn't missed a beat. Just my opinion.

Last day of riding in 2010 at 2am my CL scavenge pump went.. Smoke city to say the least with a flickering oil light.. Went through the entire motor during off season.. An expensive lesson learned..

...That's the pump I switched to after the pump supplied by Cycle Logic went tits-up after a few thousand miles. That cheap black POS pump is not "Cycle Logic's" (they don't make it), they just supply it some of their kits to keep cost down. I've heard from quite a few people that the reliability of those little pumps is quite suspect. I've heard from some that they used to be better "years ago", but I can't verify that. I'll never run one again: I can say that.

No problems with the new pump. Quiet, fits under the fairing... done deal.
