Eklipse,
It's not worth the bang for the buck... peak it's a few hp over the SMEG/alien head; it has a few more in the middle, but not worth the money when compared to an exhaust that's built for the 14r.....

so your not buying a 14r until you have a Brock A-Head 2 exhaust? You could be making other modifications now and have less to do when your A-Head 2 arrives.

Since you can't afford a CT, I'm sure a jones performance build will be in your budget.

justoyz2,
Can you handle the truth? I was pretty happy with the Alien Head 2 on the Roaring Toyz prototype 14R we track tested at Valdosta... until we realized the engine in serial # 007 was assembled for 'longevity' instead of maximum performance. Add another 10 or 15 HP to what we were testing for weeks and it's back to the drawing board as far as I'm concerned.
I could have manufactured and shipped the AH2 as we ran 8.99 at shock wheelbase - and then shipped another "whizzbang" system in Feb. or March.
Would you have been pissed? I know I would be...
Proper R&D takes time, it's just that simple. I won't create a pipe unless I can map out lumps in the torque curve so I know if its mapping or hard tubing related. I can tell you that this 2011 ZX-10R PCV situation has been a straight up PITA to figure out.
Be be patient. My mission for the 14R is CT type performance at a stainless price. It's not easy, but it's possible. We already have tubing sizes that we have never used before on any other machine waiting for a chance to shine. That could mean completely new tooling in some instances and perhaps even custom made thin wall stainless tubing runs... We aren't talking about 'hold the pickles'. We use custom fabricated precision mandrel tooling with bronze wiper dies on our benders - bad ass shit that takes craftmen and toolmakers a long time to construct.
Just hold tight, we are introducing an all new high performance stainless line-up with the 14R because no other bike has ever required the need before... It's out-powering components that have been working great for many years.

Can't believe you had to explain that Brock! Some adults act like children with no since of reality... I would believe that all adults have been exposed to businesses that provides products for the different facades of our lives and you can't strong arm a company to release a product prematurely.
