6.50 turbo'd Busa' ???? I'd be ashamed to go that slow on a blown bike. That is of course unless it was just being shook down and tuned.
I loved seeing the temp paper plate on the bike. That was great!
BTW...... yes, the .40 is a much better round than the 9mm but neither will conceal as well as my little .380. You can't even see it for the most part but it's got a lot less stopping power than the .40 by far.

I have not raced there 30 years. When Green Valley closed up we had to drive a hour each way to go to Billy Myers Texas Motor Plex. Billy's Dad built it to bribe Billy to quit racing Funny cars, so the rumors said back then. There was a track in Dallas after the "Valley" closed I.H.R.A. Dallas International opened but I never raced there and it closed a few years later.

Yep my older brother raced his 1950 Ford "Flat Head" V8 back in 1959 ( I was 9) as Mom had just got a new 1959 Buick and gave my brother her old 50 Ford Rag Top and had it painted Red for his 16th Birthday. It set for weeks while he saved up to have it fixed.

Wee,
The only way for you to have not taken an "L" last weekend was for 1Bad to have not shown up, lost his nerve in the water box, or to have changed his (proven) set-up.
-1Bad has the better mph ( HP) and being a bracket racer has a great R/T. Plus a couple of weeks back he said his set-up was back to its winning from.
- The only hope you had was your incredible front half (60') which is rusty and out of calibration due to only riding stock wheelbase. Plus, your 70" chassis is not dailed in.
However, if 1Bad keeps letting you put this race off until you and your bike are dailed in, I bet he will be in the same position as the white turbo busa in the above post(1/8 of course).
That is just how it is
Then again, he may beat you anyway:....?
