What if any problems did you have ? did you ever have to change valve shims?

you be likin the hwy............shiggy had around 140k on a zx12r.i remember some guy had 200k plus on a honda cbr 929...roll on and watch out for those fucking cagers..hny to ya...

Normal wear and tear + the Cam chain tensioner failed @ about 50k and I had the front Rotors warp on me around 40k.
Nothing else but miles of smiles on this bike

Only one adjustment around 50k and only a few were out.

I'll be around those #'s in a bit as long as I don't tangle up with a fuckin' cager .
One backed over my bike at a gas station last year july.
But yeah highways and canyons. One year I think was 07 I had logged over 10k in just canyon riding alone.

What happened when the cc adjuster failed? anything?

A lot of noise that came and went whenever the motor came back down from WOT.
And every so often at startup it would rattle forever.
Could have been worst iif i let it go but the noise from the cct was more than enough to get me to fix it asap!

NICE! you deserve a new bike riding it that much, are you single? haha I have 29K. this year our weather sucked all summer for riding. 2 yrs a go I had 10K.. this year I had barely 2K good news for this bike at any rate- curious how many tires,chain replacement ect? Just oil changes? congrats on happy miles Lee.. D

Yeah I do deserve a new bike hahahaha!
Yes I am married and since about 50k . She's been on the back for 10's of thousands .
According to my records that I have from 29,000 miles cause I can't seem to find my other one that I have from the 600 to 20k , here's the breakdown:
2 chains 1st one @ 33K 2nd one @ 71K
17 sets of tires.
10 oil changes.
4 spark plug changes
So that all happened since 29k so a few more of the above happened before that too lol.
