Went for a ride today

Figured out my sensor problem, sanded down the height on the first gen brake holder, got the signal going to the speedo, we got up to middle 40's with the sun out, went for about a ten mile ride would have went more but had family to go visit, so I got enjoy my christmas present. I never got to ride mine at SWB but with the way this rolls on the power with the extended swingarm I can see why people had a stunt bike not a dragbike. LOL My twelve wasn't even remotely stock, but it wouldn't even be in the same county as this bike can't wait til spring when I can go to a track. The other thing is this bike seems to carry its weight well and is very smooth I am gonna try my bike with the secondaries in first then take them out if I feel that it is necessary. Now that it revs out now I am gonna hit the dyno again just to see what happens. We are gonna watch the AFR if doesn't lean out my seconde stage goes past INTAKE AIR SENSOR and its just 20 hp. Hope everybody got what they wanted for xmas.

Went for another ride today put about twenty miles, was starting to get a little too cold, have never ridden a 14 before and all I can say is I can't believe how smooth it is, if this is what you guys with older 14's have been enjoying than I can understand why you like your fourteens so much. It builds up speed so smoothly it is kind of deceptive you don't think you are going that fast than you look down at the speedo and go damn. Like I said my twelve was no slouch, but this thing is a beast, in SWB form I could see this bike being really tough to be consistent in bracket or trying to run an index, unless you launched with traction control on, which unfortunately I think that would be considered illegal at our track.

Gen 1 was smooth also, but gen 2 is a bit more "refined" (for lack of a better word). These bikes are scary fast and certainly not for the faint of heart. From what I have read TC will hinder performance slightly, it will take some time to learn. Good luck with your new 14.... awesome bike!

Tom, people on this forum are really nice, occasionally you get a Busa guy on here talking shit then leaving.... Not too often.. Lots of good information here to be found if you are looking for it, and some really great people over here willing to help out a fellow 14 rider. BTW, Same temps here yesterday..... Are you in the North East?

Tom don't really see why running with traction control on would be illegal, there's no rule on it. it's not a 2 step or a throttle stop so have at it! guys do the same thing by pulling timing and adding fuel you just don't here about it!
