In all acutality, the Ninja names reigned king from 1990 to 1999.... regardless of what suzuki produced the zx11 was the king of speed.
The busa has reigned 1999 to 2006.... everyone in the sport bike world realize the tides had turned.... they sat and waited for suzuki to do something about the very fast production 2006 zx14.... they answered with an equal bike.
Now, they are in denial becuase for what ever the reason... they have yet to realize what has actually happened.... A new paridiem has become the standard... it's called The ZX14R.... In March/12.... all will really see just how fast the 14R is..... I have attended many races, yes there is always a fast non stock busa ripping up the set... that all changed starting in 06...
If you hit any MFG Cup race, there are just as many zx14s when compared to busa...
Many busa owners are in denial right now, but they will start to complain....

i was looking for the episode of where the zx14 and a busa was at the race track.. and the busa guy flip his bike on tv.. i remember the zx14 was a roaring toyz bike ...

I agree 100% All the 08 Busa did was match the zx14. Now the 14r has upped the anty and all Suzuki will do is match the 14r. Though I would be impressed if they surpassed the 14r instead of just trying to keep up.
