BIG BAD BLUE ON THE DYNO !!!! 202.8 HP STD

I found a friend of my with a 200 i dyno that was willing at short notice to make some dyno runs on my bike .. Wes of Cycle Rama in Largo FL is a well known racer all the way back to the 70s ... I have used his 200 i Dyno before , so i know it's a fair but not a happy dyno ... My 05 ZX10 stock made 147 HP SAE on his dyno and my 2005 ZXR1200 piped jetting with pods made 132 SAE HP.. Stock Gen 1 Busas make 154 SAE on his dyno .. The bike had 75 miles on it and to make it a test close to what Ricky did last night i put the tire pressure the same as his in the video .. I was running 89 Pump gas and the motor still have kawasaki oil in it that came with for the factory .. I do have Brocks Street Smeg on the bike for the testing but NO P/C ...

STD 202.8 !!!!! That is 7 HP more than Rickys bike with just a Brocks pipe ..
SAE 197.4 !!! 92 humdity .. 70 deg ..temp ..
Uncorected or actual HP was 202.4 hp..

I wanted it tested all three ways so you could see for yourselfs and pick what ever number floats your boat ..

Charts to follow ...

That's awesome Lee. I might have to get one of those. How's the blue look? Blue's my favorite color.

Every time I see one of these dyno sheets, I am amazed at how that bike pulls all the way to redline. I can't wait until someone has some 47mm throttle bodies on this thing!

A/F ratio looks pretty darn good at 13.2 ... I'm sure it will run better at the track with 12.9 or so ...

I just wanted you guys to see while Ricky runs are still fresh in you mind ... His all stock number of 195 STD Vs my 202.8 STD with just a pipe .. Anyway you slice it that is a gain of 7 HP for just a pipe and nothing else ... There maybe be a few more with a tune ... And i sure with some more Miles it will pick up some HP with some miles on the clock ...

So even if you pick the SAE Numbers of 197.4 i posted ( by the way that was the first pull on the bike ) .. This bike with some miles and oil change with just a pipe and no tune is going to make over 200 HP SAE ..

Well it appears to me on the same dyno with a tune + Mr12 @ 13 to 1 a/f ratio..... your bike should net around 206 SAE or 211 STD....

That's what's up..... I added +2 for tuning and +7 for Mr12, could be more

There is even more power to be had than that, with a race air filter, <<0 wt oil, etc...believe it!

Shane, Yeah I believe you with the oil, but I am not a big fan of using a lighter weight oil to gain a few hp..... I really would like Lee to have gotten a dyno pull prior to installing the exhaust.

I think the a/f is leaner than he as stated, but just the same, I know he does know how to tune a bike. I think with chain, bearing mod, tuning he will gain maybe a handful + hp..... I don't think he will use Mr12, but maybe some E85

That's bad azz, so a full exhuast change still adds as much power. Pull the filter and watch that 1441 put out 3-5 more, your less the zero oil is gonna free up another 2hp.

BTW, this is with the older street meg. I think Brock says his updated systems will be worth more up top.

Lee, did he take it to the limiter? The way the power is climbing, I wonder if a little bit of extended revs are going to be in order?

Piston speeds are still relatively low on this motor as-is. Very common to extend Gen 2 Busa revs, and it has the same stroke.

Shane I saw this on another 14r dyno pull, it pulls hard into the limiter, Uping the rev limiter will help....amoung other secretes we hope they find buried in there...
