2012 ZX14R ECU reprogramming ...
Don Guhl ECU reprogramming, he already has the code extracted from the 14R.
Brock is working closely with Don on this .. Hope is it will be timming , fuel mapping , top limiter removel , rev limiter and adjustable secondairy fly rate ..

Yes Sir.........that will be great........ Adjustable secondary fly rate if they will open fast enough would eliminate removal.

Cant wait to hear their results that would be awesome news if there was easy gains to be had for relatively cheap with a simple ECU reflash!!!

Good news...
Reflashing the ECU for the 14R with tunable parameters would be definitely a step to the next level beyond Dynojet. If Guhl can deliver for the 14R like he did for the ZX10 then we have a meaningful step forward in tuning for this bike. I for one would welcome being able to re-tune without need of a PC type device. My summer is looking better and better!! Now just waiting on my pipe from Italy.
Have at it boys,

This is what Brock had to say to me about the Don and the ECU ..
" Don is great to work with, he has no problem coming up with a “Brock” combination, once I’m happy, and leaving it alone (forever) – so all of my future map changes will still work. "

Don has become the expert for the retuning of the zx models, however you will always need a device to make your fuel map for the conditions of the day. He can of course add timing or remove timing, remove the top speed limiters. These mods can and has been proven to increase performance. The gain is not like 10 hp or anything like that.... maybe 5 over Mr12, but that requires several dyno trips and reflashing.
I am sure there really isn't any major differences between the 2011 zx10 and 2012 zx14 ECU functions. The real question is will the gains out weigh the cost?
So with that said, I assume that Brock actually has a bike now? If so, when will we seen performace parts.... dyno numbers.... etc.....or is the plan to debut his bike in March at the MFG Cups Midway Race?

Hopefully they are fitting new pipes or figuring out what needs to be done, so he can ship my new pipe that's already on order, 20" smeg /black ceramic coated, with green logo, just in case your checking Brock LOL

Hopefully this turns out like the Busa ecu and it's cheap like that as well. free software on the internet and a 150.00 flash box and the busa ecu does everything, two maps switchable on the fly, kill box for air shifter, progressive nos controller, drag tools etc. Hands down the busa has the advantage in this area. you guys will love it if that's how the 14r turns out to be but I'm guessing not when it's 350.00 just to have them raise the rev limiter on the current kawasaki's

Brock told me he is working like a one armed wall paper hanger.. He has so much in the fire right now he has NO free time .. Don't worry he is on the job trying to get the go fast goodies to your door as fast as he can .. I know Brock and he will not build something and send it out if it's only second best .. When it leaves his shop it will be the best it can be ..

Yep this will be good, As looking at the few dyno graphs, this BEAST pulls right into the limiter, sooo i think it WILL benifit with a few hundred more rpms added to the stock limiter?????

Don Guhl offers flashing as a service for $375,
Why would he sell the software? IF he did how much would you be willing to pay?
Last I heard it was around $700 to be used on ONE bike around $450 for each additional bike.
Can't blame the man. If the market supports that price, then that's what it worth.
He said it would be available last year but the zx10 guys raised the stakes when then
started sending their ecu(s) for a Euro flash to give them full power. (flies and timing)
Now the stage has been set. If you want control get a BUSA,
IF you want a flash send your ecu.

I am getting a Green SE 14R, and am on the waiting list as of this morning for a Brocks Stainless system with 20" street meg. and green name plate along with the power commander, when this system is available for the 2012 model year. As I am not a racer...and not an expert in this field...does the power commander that I have ordered with the full system... cover what the ECU flash would do? Do I need both? Power commander of course to work with the full system from Brocks, but will also need or benefit from the ECU flash? Thank you for any help and input.

Guess the Busa guys were just lucky and had petki (sp) who did it because he likes to, 150.00 flash box and use it on every bike in the country!
