Learnt something about E85

After running E85 for a long period of time it builds a black resin in the fuel system.. Or so what the car guy's said . i've never seen the black resin in the fuel line ... but i did see it at the injectors in the TB'S and intake ports after a full year of use .. and my throttle had lost that quick snap rev ..it would just die if i snap the throttle.. A/F's were fine .. simple fix was to run some pump gas thru the system as the car guys instructed each other.. well i did that .. it almost became an instant fix ..i can snap that throttle now .. the bikes idle rpm also went up 300 rpm ..

I was concerned about winter storage with E85 in the tank. I plan to drain the tank and fill the bike with 93 octane + fuel stabilizer for the 5 months of storage.

I assume long term storage with ethanol is not good.

Re: storage stabil reacts with it if you don't have the right version - stabil fuckered up a few of my bikes last season. Switched to seafoam - good E85 or normal

Also found that the chinese battery tenders from walmart work better than battery tender battery tenders

I'm in Wichita Ks and we have a E85 fuel plant a few miles away, I wonder if shipping it across country in the trucks to other parts of the US might have something to do with it, not sure if they have E85 only fuel trucks with special tanks or they are using the same trucks for all fuel and it's causing a problem
