? on pair valve block offs

On a 2010 do you need something to plug into the harness after removing pair valve so bike runs right? I know Ivans says yes and others say no, anyone done this?

I don't have anything on my 08, I don't think the electronics changed. I don't have any codes or anything.

It won't throw codes, but my testing seemed to show a difference in low rpm A/F and acceleration? I left the switch plugged in on Racheal's bike.

I used a 10hz gps and a/f logger and tested it plugged in and unplugged, with the block-offs installed. I don't know would cause the difference, but it did show up on the loggers. Maybe a fluke? I don't know, but it was easy to leave it plugged in. Hopefully an "expert" will chime in.

haha, well i'm no expert but-

My 08 also has PAIR removed and block off plates installed. No codes runs fine.

Before removing the PAIR, I just plugged the clean air hose and shoved it back into the airbox. The white lead connector that goes to the switch valve was left plugged in because the PAIR was still on the engine--just disabled. AFAI can tell, same performance. No dif. If there is a change in AFR, I couldn't tell by my butt.

I was told receptical in Ivans block off kit is purely cosmetic. It makes the install neater.

Dogo has Ivans BO plates kit. You should PM him to ask.

Block off plates are block off plates but I would get Ivan's kit for the dummy receptical. Muzzy's is fine but the airbox plug doesn't fit.
