Putting on arm 2012 14r

The one thing that I noticed that is going to be a little of a challenge is,I hope there is enough slack in the traction control sensor wire for an extended arm and in my case I can't use the brake arm piece for my adam's arm I am going to use the oem brake hanger and weld a threaded button on the arm to do heim joint setup to hold brake hanger in place. Looks like aftermarket swingarms are gonna get more expensive, because of the traction control sensor! The green is little different than my zx12's green it is a little darker and has more metallic in the paint. I will post some pictures later, hoping for a at least fifty something degree day to go for a ride otherwise straight into the mods already found where my five button progressive is going, who needs a tool holder anyway LOL

Yea gonna pull out the soldering gun, guess I gotta get over the it's new thing and just get in there and get busy. LOL Putting the swingarm on this weekend and my tiger tail should be here this week, gonna start placing nitrous pieces, this bike defiantely doesn't have the spare room my 12 had. I will take pictures and post them, don't know how much help they will be seeing as the back end is no different, suppose it can't hurt and if someone sees something that could be done better, I'm sure they would say something and that's a good thing.
Been around bikes along time, but this if the first time getting serious with a fourteen thankfully I know there is a lot of knowledge available with you guys later

see this is what I was talking about I am going to my buddies business and see if he can laser cut me a new designed piece will have to make the part that rests on the swingarm longer so we can cut holes for the sensor and the piece will still be strong. The wire is long enough I just flipped it around going with a 24" brake line picking that up today. The suspension geometry must be different because the dog bones that I bought came off a gen 1 and when I left them where he had them set they were way off. I am going to have adam's make longer threaded adjusters to go lower.

I retract what i said about the threaded adjusters, forgot that previous owner of these had a straight bar link on his gen 1 and I think he cut these adjusters down, so if anybody buys adam's adjustable links they should work fine as long as the person didn't use straight links sorry for any confusion. If the harness plugs in somewhere, looks like you could make an extension harness. What would happen in it was left unmounted and just ziptie it up somewhere? Figure it would give an error code, but would it effect how the bike ran?

Call Doug at spencer cycles and get his super slammers lowering links .. They are much much longer than the Adams links ..

I should have a new piece hopefully this afternoon that will have a cutout for the sensor, but I think you could run with the sensor but there would be a annoying flashing something on the display, picking up new lines and vortex sprocket today. Wheelie since I can't run mine up here I'll send it down and you and JZX can race each other LOL

I called McIntosh today and talked with Terry.

His arm uses the stock brake hanger so there is no issue with the TC sensor.
