I Have Bad News About The Secondaries They have to come out, they open slow, you know what that means? MORE POWER SHAZZAM!!!!!!

Aren't there several power modes on that machine? Can't you trigger the secondary opening digitally without having to remove them?

If you come off the clutch at 7k( if they are wide open at that point ) you may not notice when you pull them. But for sure it will be more on the dyno under that RPM just like gen 1.
Don't pull em yet- unless u want a zx10 pc.

my data logger will let me know, I can hold 7k and they are barely opening.

Wheelie, I suspect fish meant by hacking the ECU (eventually) or by an inline signal adjustment (a la how PCs work).
1bad, don't think I'd call that denutting. It will have full power at peak power WOT... this is just restricting airflow at lower RPMs (and I'm sure you know restricted airflow doesn't _alwasy_ mean less power).

yeah that's what he meant, I remember my 06 after pulling them hope the 012 gets the same or close results. It will really help on take offs.

No, that's not what I meant or I would have said that . I meant selecting the power , or changing to a race ecu

well that's a pretty stupid thing to say then. Wheelie doesn't have a race ecu yet (and how would he know if the race ecu covers that?), and do you seriously think he was testing in low power mode? go trolling with 1bad. this is boring.

I have it on full power.

the secondaries are probably affected by throttle position and rpm ... so holding it at 7k may not give you all the info. data logging the secondary throttle positions sensor during a run is better.
If this bike is like the '06-'07 , try adding a resister to make the ecu think you are in 5th or 6th might open them faster . Measure the resistance thru the gear selector when the bike is in 1st - 6th ... I used a 270 Ohm resister to make the ecu think the bike was always in 6th .
might be an easy test , back - back runs and look at the data logger.

Wheelie, this is what I was suggesting on the phone when your battery died last night, so I don't know how much you heard.
It needs to be at WOT to know when they are fully opened for what we care about..
That's prolly a 2 person job, one to watch the flies and one to watch the tach.
Maybe keep moving the shift light setting up or down until it flashes when they are open.
