When I had the plastic off I didn't look at the coil wires to see the colors, wanting to hook up my air shifter, I can find white/red and white/green then two white/black, Gen 1 has white/yellow and white/blue, need help on coil wire colors

Hi wee,

The MSD SB6 plugs in-line at the coil connector.. is the plug the same as on the Gen1? I may be able to go look at mine and using the SB6 documentation glean which wire is for which coil. Think this will help?

not the same as a gen 1 at the ecu, but on the coil sticks they are the same.

Well. the SB6 plugs in at the coil harness to main harness plug, not at the individual coil sticks. So I was wondering if the coil harness to main harness plug is maybe the same?

I'll try and get a pic of it. Stand by... I need an excuse to remove the rest of my plastics anyway.

Did you check to see if the color changes at the coil harness connector? They might have just used the old coil harness, plugged into a new main harness.

I checked today unfortunately still on backorder with no delivery date yet, which is the opposite of what Kawasaki said when I called them and they gave me the part number. As soon as one comes inot our service department or mine comes in and if you don't have your answer I will give you a call wheelie
