Today I did 300 miles on it and got to say it is amazing.... The seat is awesome and handling far superior to the old bike. In addition I learnt that you CAN change power modes (full or Low) while riding and also change traction control setting (Off, 1, 2 or 3). Very impressed at this point, can't wait to start modding it!

When the public starts buying the 14r they will be pleased, I didn't mention the shift lever felt it didn't move far to shift, maybe it's just me but it shifted from gear to gear with just a short nudge from my foot,
Tested the brakes really good at the drag strip yesterday lol, they are strong, the seat is wide and comfortable for hours of riding. and I can't say enough about the traction control. That 1441 is no fun at the drag strip! It stays on the back tire, this 2012 model is a beast when racing it, but street driven it's as mellow as you want it to be, very tame when ridden in street conditions. It's a blast to be on it where ever you are.

I've alwaya thought that my 06 would be awesome if it ran like on days like today with -1100 ft DA long power wheelies in second gear just pulling like mad. I figured on days like today it is within maybe 4 hp of a new stock one probably not quit the torque so if the new runs like that in warm weather then awesome. One day I'll surely have one.

So seems like many bits are shared between previous models, wheelie?

Sounds great! I just became the first person in Queensland, Australia to put a deposit down and sign a contract on a new 14r! Gotta go to the dealer launch on the 15th December to see one in the flesh. Gonna put Brocks CT single and PCV before it leaves the dealership! Its gonna be schweeet!
