Congrats on new purchase. Many vendors said the old pipes will fit, BUT some are changing the design for more clearance in areas... and also maybe to sell some more pipes as opposed to moving what you have from one to the other. Need to give it some time for R&D and Dyno testing. Due to the shortage of bikes now I am guessing there will be some solid info coming soon hopefully in December-January.

Brock said the CT and smeg will fit by spacing the rad out a 1/4 of an inch at the bottom .. I don't know about the sidewinder .. I see no reason why it would not fit .. I'll pm brock and ask him ..

I'm thinkn, you went 8.50's on your 07, this 14R set up the same way should go 8.25-30's maybe? Add a "medium" shot of nitrous and you could drop a few more tenths.. Which puts the 14R in "RealStreet territory. Question is, at the RS length rules, would that be enuff nitrous to make up for losing 5 one houndreths off the 60'.

Wouldn' t that be something, a stock motor with a not so huge shot of dope running Real Street.

I'm sure I may be dreaming becuase that big motor RG runs is probably being hit with a 150 shot.

A buddy of mine ran real street last year with a stock motor, thin head gasket, a home port job, and a decent shot of nitrous. I have seen him run 8.11 and he is not a real small guy either.

A few guys running 8.60na go 8.20's on 60-75 shots, I just figure the new bike would be able to go 8 flat with that kind of spray. But these guys are longer.

Yeah, I haven't done a cost analysis on this yet, but I'm guessing that I could save considerable money by turning my '06 into a 1441. Sure, I wouldn't have all the bells-n-whistles that the new bike has, but the power to dollar ratio would be better, right?
