Happened a few weeks ago, by turning the crank bolt everything seems fine in the bottom end, just 3 or 4 small nicks in the cylinder wall. Head is probably unfixable.

I wonder if that much force could have.bent a rod or cracked something?

I think it would be cheaper and easier if I found a used motor and slapped it in a couple hours. Best case senario for this motor is replacing the head, boaring the cylinders, new pistons, rods.. a headache really, and more expensive.

Actuall,that head can be fixed.I had one worse than that repaired.Is the bore hurt?

You can see the cylider nicks and pretty bad at the top right of the pic.

above is a shot of the valve stem still in the head. What do you guess think, floated?

You might get Jim to chime in and he is one the expertshere and his work is extensive with cylinder heads.

I would build a stroker also.... Will be a few more $$$ than buying a used motor but get more bang for the buck.
