I have a 08 zx-14. Is there a way of removing this darn thing and keeping your gear display alive and well?

The speedohealer will not remove the speed limiter. Your bike will still stop accelerating at 186 mph indicated.
However, you can adjust what your speedometer reads so that it never reaches 186.
The Bonneville pro should correct the speedometer (just as the speedohealer does) as well as sending a false signal to the ECU. This more effectively defeats the speed limiter, for an extra $40

I use the Bonneville Pro. Gear display still works just like normal.. It sends signal to the ECU that doesn't go over 170 or what ever you set it at. There are a couple of choices. The speedo is accurate to when ever it is burried. I can also change it and keep the speedo accurate with different gearing changes.
