Pictures of Muzzy 4-1 Sidewinder lower fairing cutout
I am in a delima, while I had my plastics/tank at the paint shop to be painted, I installed a Muzzy 4-1 sidewinder exhaust. Now that I have all my body parts back with new paint, the lower fairing will not fit without trimming.
Will a few of you post some pictures of the hole where the exhaust goes through the faring? I would like to get an idea how much to cutout without hacking my fairing too much and have a gaping hole.
Thanks everyone...

I do not have a Sidewinder but have seen a few bikes with them not use the bottom fairing. You should cut it before painting it in my opionion... How much would that blow scratching it after its been painted?

Can't see it very good, but I cut it all the way through, so that I could just slip off the plastics around the exhaust if I needed to take them off.

Seno- yeah I have seen most 14's with a sidewinder not have the lower fairings, but I prefer to have them on since I'll be showing some as well. When I was having my body painted I was going to go with voodoo exhaust, but got a good deal on a muzzy sidewinder.
Joel787- that's why you have to trim the lower fairing, so it's not snug and has clearance for heat.
Ninjaboy311- that's exactly what I was looking for thanks. Bike looks good btw.
I'll post pics of mine when I finish.
