2006 to 2011 Dyno Jet P/C will not fit the 2012 ZX14R

Brock sent me an email that he wanted me to pass on to you guys .. The Dyno Jet P/Cs for the 2006 to 2011 will NOT fit the new 2012 ZX14R .. So i guess we have to wait for Dyno Jet to make one that will fit ..

Probably just the harness plug? Could probably modify it.

Buggar! Don't really want to put a full system on without PCV. Not expecting to see the new 14R in Australia until January. Hopefully Dynojet can get a unit together over next couple of months.

Been without two wheels for 11 months and don't want to wait any longer...

I would think there would be a little more to it than that.

How long do you think it will take Dynojet to get a PCV together?

I emailed them yesterday. Depends on what is needed. New plug, few weeks, new circuitboard, few months. Guess we willl just have to wait and pray it is something quick and simple.

It may not be THAT big of a deal for the average rider / racer.

From 2006 - Brock Diary Part 1:

Stock: 169.45 HP
Exhaust Only: 181.70 HP for a 12.25 HP Gain
If you're an area-under-the-curve kind of guy, it's actually bigger than that sounds.

Add a PC and a tune: 184.90 - only an extra 3.2 HP

Maybe not as big a gain on the 2012, but should be a good gain with no PC.

Worried about the A/F? The 06 was so pig rich (Brock's description) that adding an exhaust with no PC actually improved the A/F.

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

Lucky thats why I asked Smokin if he had a PC..........I remembered reading that the 2008's were so rich that an exhaust improved the AF without a PC and I was wondering if the ZX 14R will be the sam?

I suggest looking at the 2011 zx10 Pc5...

-this unit connects directly the injectors (like a 1k)
-I am 90% sure this is the new way of doing business for Kawi

Have already installed the 2011 ZX10R PC5. Plugs into back of injectors and TPS plugs in. Just left the crank sensor hanging unconnected. What a monster this bike is! Buyers are going to be happy. Non-buyers are going to be upset!
